Great pictures, and that bootie pattern is adorable!

I hear you on the rude bikers-to-bikers thing. I have a bell and I always let people know if I am passing. It makes me so crazy to be just meandering along and have someone pass me at breakneck speed that I almost collide into.

Thanks for the Masterpiece Theatre heads up (tivo should be catching it for me, but it too has been a little cranky of late. Maybe it doesn't like Bike To Work month either.)

MPT has been a lot of Bleak House lately. It could possibly throw a TiVo off.

I went to the quilt shop. I am going to be very cash-poor and cotton-rich.

Daphne! I thought you haven't been posting for awhile as I subscribe through bloglines and haven't seen any news. So anyway I'm just cruising through my links and thought I'd see what's up and there's a whole slew of postings. WTF? Why am I not getting these postings and seeing all this cuteness of blankets, biking, etc? Geez.

45 miles? Flynn would love to go biking with you! I'm good for about, oh, 5 miles. I can't bike, he can't knit. We're perfectly matched!

Yeah, the bloglines thing is really bothering me. I've put in requests there and here about it, and I'm not the only one. Let's just say it's making me cranky!

You are my knittin'-bike ridin' hero! I want to ride... It is scary for me still though -- partly due to those crazy fast bikers who cruise by unsafely, and the cars too! My hubby would be thrilled if we could do rides like that together too so it would help towards marital bliss. We'll see.

La Conner is cute, but Twisp is way less touristy. I think you'd like it. There is no yarn shop though! The hostess at the Methow Valley Inn asked me, "Do you want to move here and open one?! We need one!" I said, "I wish I could...."

Mrs. Beeton's gauntlets are on my list, I have yarn for them, but now that it's warm I don't really feel like working in hot wool and mohair.

Cheers,
-Jennifer
