dragon blanket came out so well! Not that I was expecting it to look stupid, but I was having a hard time picturing how you'd get dragoness across. It worked, it's fantastic! (The sun & earth is lovely too -- but you've given us more previews of that one.)

And I was just talking to Megan about those booties! Or really she was telling me about these super-cute, fuzzy booties she saw at Purl, and I figured they must be the LMKG ones, and that "Daphne has made a bunch and they're so soft and wonderful." And now you have again!

I'm babbling. It's crazy hot here.

Thank you!!

I am getting to be something of an expert on the LMKG booties. If you knit four in a row, you get pretty fast by the last one, too. I think I'm down to 1.5 hrs/pair.

It's just plain nice out here. I hope it lasts until you get back!

those blankets are gorgeous!!! where did you find the pattern?

i think it's really cool how excited and involved you are with your sister's pregnancy. i am so hoping my sister reacts the same way you do (in about three years, when i'm actually ready for kids, of course.) ;)

Thank you! I made them up, but I did have some help. I pinkie-swear promise to tell you a little more about them soon.

My sister and I have grown closer in the past couple of years, with effort on both our parts. It's really rewarding. (Our family usually leaves the "fun" out of "dysfunctional," though, and I can't say I'm always the biggest help.)

No wonder you are tired! Look at all that stuff you made! Gorgeous. I love the middle pattern of the green, orange and white one.

Go, Annual Report, go!

You know that by the fact that I am writing today, nothing has happened yet. Thanks for your well wishes on that front, and I will keep posting the non-news until I can post the actual NEWS!!!
