Lately -- ever since Friday afternoon, when I got a special message from my sister -- I've been very industrious. I just added you as a friend! I have a question - can you use photos on LJ that are marked as "private" on flickr? So that way you can still share them in your journal but not have them open for the general public to read?

Yes, you can do that -- post "private" photos. The above photos are marked "friends & family can see these" on Flickr (so soon you'll see them there... doh! I didn't mean to send people to a page they couldn't see if they're not logged in... must do better next time).
