Usually 90% of my Monday is writing a weekly newsletter. I won't belabor how wonderfully I write it and blahdidiblahblahblah but suffice it to say I work hard at it and try to make it entertaining and fun and people say they like it. So that's good. It's probably also good that I have a deadline or I'd just mess around all the time. Sometimes it's ( Read more... )

I used to get to pick out a new goldfish if I got all A's but that ended once I was 15 or 16.

I think it's the fake "multitasking" we're supposed to do. Also I think I used to stare off into space plenty back in the olden days. Argh, I'm still at work, must get out!

"it turns out work is all (almost all) group projects and the only way to make sure you get an A is to take charge and be very bossy and/or do it all yourself."

Good lord. If that's not true I don't know what is. I hate work.

I'll give you an "A" Daphne. . . not that it would mean anything coming from me. I wish I could pay you, but hey, I'm the one that hated work so bad I just quit, and I pay for my grades, not the other way around. I have decided being independent is highly over-rated; I'll let someone support me. . .
