Attention!

Tell me how we are going to deal with today's craptastic attitude, which includes: Hating work. Feeling cranky. Wanting to walk out. Total lack of motivation. Like anti-motivation. But on the other hand, not minding too much the actual doing of the work, but at the same time wanting to spew nails toward the work/creators of the work ( Read more... )

I don't have any suggestions at the mo. I'm just commenting to say I can empathize COMPLETELY.

I am not at work today, but tomorrow means another round of total BS begins.

: sigh :

Empathy is highly comforting, so thank you.

Life is goofy. If there weren't any BS, would we just be bored as all get-out?

Definitely leave early and ride your bike for a while. It's actually sunny here, so perhaps it is there as well? With a lovely cool breeze ...

You could ride it, say, to the yarn store ...

It is lovely here. This morning I dreamed I was staying home sick because I didn't want to get out of bed. I was happy when I woke up not-sick but then. Oh then it was time to get moving and the day went downhill after I locked up in front of the building.

I have a thing about riding to yarn shops--a thing where I'm trying to ride to all of them!--but the one that comes to mind is on Capitol Hill and means riding through downtown. But it is a good idea nonetheless.

Our group of disgruntled marketing people over here is fantasizing about sitting out on the Seattle pier in the sun during happy hour.

I'm hiding behind my iPod at the moment trying to finish things so I can go home and clean my bathroom. I live the wild life.

Oh! And there our proposal writer has just sent out an email trying to organize our happy hour.

I hate happy hour. Isn't that helpful? But fantasizing about margaritas in the sun/on the pier isn't so bad.

We only like happy hour because the food and drinks are cheap. We only go during the week (not Fridays) and most of the places we go are non-crowded.

But yes, cool beverages while sitting in the sun!

go home! The sky's blue, and that's as good an excuse as you need. Of course, it's almost time to go home anyway, so my input's kind of moot.

If it helps at all though, I'm certainly feeling your pain. (And my pain comes in the form of officemates.)
