It's actually better than last Thursday? Hm. I promise to post about something other than knitting later, but for now...

I probably shoulda brought the Olympic Sweater in for a photo for you all, but I really can't knit it on the go so had nixed it from the carry-on list. It's pretty. Brown. VERY SUBTLE beads( Read more... )

I'm sorry, but if I were to go through the trouble of beading an entire sweater, I want it to say BEADS! BEADS HERE! But, subtle might be more wearable. And an Olympic sweater is meant to be a challenge after all. (But ugh, double p3tog??)

Yeah. I wish I would've realized how much the beads sink in; I might've picked a brighter bead. These are a really nice match and have a golden reflective center... Sigh. You can tell me later what you think in person ( ... )

There's no law saying it has to be done by Feb 26th. You're still an Olympian. No Michelle Kwan here. Huh, double p3tog sounds like some sort of figure skating jump.

I'm so happy you're doing a kidsilk spray sample, because I've been dying to see what it looks like. Yay!

Thanks. We were joking about triple axels this morning b/c apparently there's one skater who does better in practice than in performance. You should see my moves at the rink when no one else is there, man...

It's Jenny's ruffled shawl which is about the simplest pattern there is, very cleverly done.
