Had a great evening last night, went to Land of the Dead with patchadamsrn and boston_berry. Some great conversation and lots of zombies to be had. The movie scored low on creepy zombie horror but was nonetheless enjoyable. It's nightshift again and it's dead. We have a grand spanking total of 11 patients on the floor (the max capacity is 22-23). While I should be grateful for the quiet, this borders on too quiet. Another birthday come and gone, 24 now. I had a nice quiet day yesterday, cleaned the house from top to bottom then napped. When Blue came home he brought me a birthday cake with sparklers! now there is only the unpacking left. Apologies to Squidmark for missing her going away bash but after a full day of moving we just crashed. We now live in Verdun and our cats are less than pleased that we've uprooted them. Other than that, the move was very smooth, I hope that Grosie's move was as productive and successful.

I don't think I'm ever going to like the process of moving. I hate change and I'm sticking to that! I also hate painting ceilings. So far however good progress: cleaning number one done, walls prepped, ceilings painted (join me in praying that we don't have to do a second coat) and walls to start with the family today.
