Best phonetic spelling ever

I'm grading quizzes, and one of my students from Saudi Arabia spelled "Alzheimer's" as "Al-Zahimar."

:-)

We spell 'em as we say 'em.

I'm gently amused.

Wonder what "Zahimar" translates to; because if it has a relevant root, that would be so cool. :-)

This reminds me of papers (yes, more than one!) I graded with "tripartite" spelled "tripartheid"; yes, during the mid-80s.
