A 14-year-old young woman in Islamabad who advocates education for women has been shot in the head. The Taliban spoke out in favor of the shooting. The headline in the Bee newspapers:

Taliban call girl's shooting 'obligatory'

Considering that the members of the Taliban are the assholes who had Malala Yousufzai shot, I'm not surprised that they're speaking in favor of it (though she certainly isn't a call girl). She's recovering from surgery, I believe. I hope that she makes a full recovery, lives a long and happy life, and will see all of the changes that she's advocating take place.

And I wish that the members of the Taliban and their hitman could be eaten alive by Sarlaccs and digested for a thousand years. That would not be bad enough, but it would be a start.
