Finished NatsuNiji last night and it was just lovely. There have been so many feel-good dramas recently. But where My Girlfriend is a Gumiho was pretty much centered around my love of Mi-Ho, NatsuNiji featured a cast of characters where I adored every single person from too-earnest Taiga and sad but strong Shiori to adorable Umi and snarky

Yessssss. And I was, honestly, not expecting to even enjoy the show half as much as I did (I kind of started it as a "Well, I guess I kind of ought to, just to see..." project, isn't that silly? but there it is), so to get a show with that many interesting, endearing characters was a major score. I got a kick out of Sawamura Ikki, too, but wow, I grew really, really attached to Taiga. His character was so realized and well-presented, and I felt like I really got him and yet--not too predictable! Ah, I ramble. I tend to do that, I'm realizing, about the shows I am most pleasantly surprised by.
Also, HnH2 subs needed, yes! I just want to cross it off my list as done already, pleeeeeease, subbers, just let me do that. ;)

RE: HnH2. SERIOUSLY. It doesn't help that I don't have a lot of enthusiasm for this second season. I adored the first, but I'm not that impressed this time around.
