good things come to those who wait. personally, i would wait until i found something that i thought would be perfect and that i would enjoy. yea, you could intern and graduate early, but if you weren't interested in what they were doing you would be bored and you wouldn't do a good job maybe because it wasn't interesting. you'll learn so much more if it's something you like... but that's just my $.02
yea, thats another thing. i'm not 100% sure i can find an internship for the fall. i assume that if i devote all my time to it this summer then i wouldnt have a problem finding one. Plus i just dont think God would do that to me, leave me hangin with nothing for the fall. but still i cant be 100% positive about it. i was thinking maybe if i did go ahead and do this internship at least i could go ahead and graduate. and if i had trouble finding a job i was more interested in, then i could try doing another internship just to gain more experience in those areas. and then that could help me better find a job i like. i dont know, i wont decide for sure until i talk to this lady some more. its a little vague at moment, so i plan on talking to her more this week to see exactly what i would doing during this internship. then i will decide i guess.
while both options have pluses and minuses to them, i would advise you to go with what would make you both happy and achieve your goal in the manner that best suits your ultimate goal at this point, getting a job when you finish school. Good luck, and may your decision take you down the path that leads to the goal.
I personally would wait and search for the fall. If you do not enjoy the intership that you could get this summer then you will most like be miserable and not want to be there, thus not performing at your best. Also spending time to get contacts is very important. Your portfolio and work are just part of getting a job, contacts and networking are the other. And as you said God won't leave you hanging. If you search and are adamant about find an internship that you would be happy with, God will come through for you. And on another note of interest, if you wait for the fall you might find multiple internships and be able to way out the best one and be able to pick and choose. Best of luck.
hon, i would definitely wait. in the long run, doing what you love, even if it takes more time to find out what that is, is worth the wait. in the grand scheme of things, what's one more semester? really, come on...you are 22 years old you have a billion years to get out on your own and be a "adult". time should not be a factor in this decision. 1.)say you take this internship and you hate it, so you graduate, you still are left jobless and have to start all over and look for another place to work. 2.)you look for a better-suited job, love the job so much that you decide to stay, you have a job waiting when you graduate one semester later
neither are 100% positive...but what is? hope i helped a tiny bit. miss you
