i didn't realize almodovar had been making movies for so long. for some reason i thought "all about my mother" was his first. i've only seen "talk to her" & "bad education", so i don't know, any suggestions?
Yeah, he made his first feature back in 1980. Matador was actually his fifth. If the "Viva Pedro" series makes it out your way, be sure to check out some of the films. Matador and Law of Desire are the earliest ones in the series, but 1988's Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown is probably the first one that got him real internaional attention and acclaim.
