tombs of the blind dead remains one of my favorite horror films ever. i bought the tetralogy box set and have been watching one per october for the last few years--will watch the last one this year--after seeing the first one and loving it wholeheartedly. return... is nearly as good as the first, but ghost ghalleon lacked almost everything i loved about the first two--the suspense of having to move silently, for instance. not a bad horror film, but not great.

Tombs is one that I need to go back for at some point. Unfortunately, it was checked out when I rented this the other night.

I hope to get to it sooner rather than later. I may watch Night of the Seagulls in the interim, though, so I can save the best one for last.
