Another fun one with Mathews is JACK THE GIANT KILLER. It's like a 7TH VOYAGE reunion with Torin Thatcher back as a baddie and Nathan Juran in the director's chair. Only thing missing is...Harryhausen. Jim Danforth, Tim Baar, Wah Chang and Gene Warren are among the team trying to fill his shoes with mixed results.
That one was on my radar, but I made it a low priority when I discovered Harryhausen wasn't involved. And it does not surprise me that it took that many people to try to replicate his work.
