I'm trying to get a place of my own, but financially, it looks like just not being possible.

Have fun unpacking. I moved into my place over a year ago and I am still emptying boxen. :)

That sentence fills me with horror. My goal now is making the place quasi-acceptable for company. There's a sub-goal of prepping for and getting shelving and wall art and so on.
