Communication: An offer [filtered from Mello//unhackable]

I am very much new here, and I don't have any personal stake in what happened, but still. I understand that this Mello that the Web is buzzing about has a way to... hurt anyone, anytime, and plans to hold that over us.

No.

I can find him, and he won't know I have.

But I want to know everything - everything - before I act. And I want an assurance ( Read more... )

Mello possesses a weapon that causes this; it's not an ability. If you find Mello, you will find it. I can't see him leaving it lying around.

There are far too many people hunting him...but let me make one small request.

Mello is not evil. Please don't kill him.

He killed Kaworu-san because Kaworu-san killed him in the past. Why? I don't know. Mello is very emotional and would have wanted revenge.

As for Solana-san, I am almost positive that Mello didn't do a thing to cause her death. I don't know who this "Zedd" person is, but he seems to be the one to cause it.

If you want to stop Mello in his tracks, destroy his weapon. Destroying him will just be another pointless murder.

I don't believe in 'evil'. And I don't kill people, I never have and I never will. If I help catch this man, I will do it on the condition that he receives a fair trial, to the full extent that that is possible in this place.

Either way, my knack is for Finding things, not people. It's percisely his weapon that I can locate.

I'm sorry, but I don't trust you. I want to know on whose authority you act.

Although the assistance would be useful, I doubt I have any trust at this point.

...be very careful if you are convinced to involve yourself. There is grave danger here.

This is not what I was trained for, but it still falls within my duty and I will do it.

I don't know you. I don't know why you chose to do what you did. But I was raised to believe the best of people, and if you want to talk, I'll listen.

Duty, is it?

A shame. I might have enjoyed a conversation with you, once.

Unfortunately, most are not so...understanding. And you could get burned if I indulged in that temptation.

Yes, duty. It holds up one's ideals even when one feels cynical. I do what I do for a better world, but I'm not perfect, yet.

I've been burned before and now I'm stronger. I will listen, if you want to speak.
