I'm trying an experiment. I've uploaded a spreadsheet to Google documents and I *think* the settings are such that anyone can view the spreadsheet without having to be logged into a Google account

The cheap copy that comes on cardboard. It's *NOT* the official replica that you and the kids gave me. That one is safe in it's case and there it stays. :)
