last night and whatever happened
earlier today which was a true mystery due to SP, but it'll probably be frustrating to her, she was ready to just lock herself away in her room and do some SHIELD paperwork until whatever was going on stopped, even if it took days

But, she wanted to talk to Jessica. Or see Jessica? There had been enough staring at a pretty boy earlier that day, so maybe Emily needed to balance it out. Just staring, yep. Emily's track of thought kind of stopped when she realized she had been staring through the crack of the door for a good solid two minutes. Not too creepy.
"Knock knock," she said as her head poked from the crack, a not-completely-game-but-trying smile on her face.

Emily made her way in tentatively. "How's it going? It's not really going, per se, even though everyone else is...you know. Going."

Emily sat up almost immediately. "This shouldn't be too hard to identify. You know, the days were everyone was horny."

"Just to make sure I'm following this: Your plan is to find people who've been here longer than us and ask them if they remember another time when they and everyone else were... similarly on edge t the way they are now," Jessica said. "I'm pretty sure that's plan ends with 'and then everyone started doing it and it was super weird.'"

"You really think that's what I want to do? And by that I mean doing it," said Emily with terribly fake indignation. "I dislike this lack of self control immensely. Everyone's jumping each other because they have a good excuse."
Truth to be told she felt slightly stupid.

Emily cradled her head between her hands. "I haven't even kissed anyone since I got here," she said with a very obvious hint of despair. Mainland people didn't count, and neither did Bruce. Because reasons. "I haven't and now I'm either bitching out at everything that moves or just staring like a terrible person at everything that moves."
