Presenting my Doctor Who ornament display now that I finally have enough for a separate display. Hopefully by next Christmas there will be at least a dozen more to join these.

The ‘A Christmas Carol 2010’ is in a temporary frame as I only finished stitching it at midnight. At the moment I’m still undecided on whether or not to add words or some ( Read more... )

Oh wow, that looks amazing! Where did you find the sky-shark pattern? :)

Thanks. The sky shark is my own design. I intended to post the chart here today but my computer and Crafty Tardis have not been playing nicely. It's bedtime for me so I'll try again during the next couple of days.

*squeeee* Thank you so much for sharing all your wonderful designs with us :D
I was having a look at the craft shop for blue cross-stich fabric but all they had was navy, which was way too dark...will have to shop around a bit more :)

p.s. the silver circular frames are perfect!

You are most welcome. I've had fun putting them together.

Aida cloth is available in a royal blue and also in a denim blue and I think either of them would work although you may have to shop online unless you have some big craft/needlework stores locally. There are also a lot of variations available in evenweave or linen not counting the companies that hand dye the fabric. If you were really stuck you could even use fabric paint on a white fabric. I prefer to buy the handdyed because paint and I do not work well together.
