Hi there! I'm looking for some pics if anyone can help me out? I'm gonna make a Doctor Who clock for my room (I'm sure you've seen the ones) with a picture of each Doctor for each hour. I would love to have a picture of each Doctor looking out of the Tardis but I'm having trouble finding them. I only have a few so any pictures anyone has, of any ( Read more... )

Thanks so much! It's gonna take a lot of browsing the Medusa Cascade, but I see a lot of pictures I could use for other projects.
I checked their website but it's a bit pricey for buying 12... I forgot to mention I'm going for a vintage-y look for the frames so even cheap ones that I can decorate are perfect :)

If you absolutely need shadow box frames, the check Michael's or a Hobby store. If not, The Dollar Store is where you need to go! :P

Thank you, but no I don't need shadow boxes, I don't even want them. I have two small frames and I just need ten more of similar size. I want it to look mismatched and vintage but I'll settle for any frames that I can paint and decorate. And I'm from Ireland, there's no dollar stores or Michael's. I've checked pound shops and the one hobby shop in my city, no luck :( If anyone knows somewhere online that sells them that would be perfect.

There's always the shillpages, as well as the Tragical History Tour. I'd check the Tragical History Tour first though, they have a lot of production images. Even for older Doctors!

Great pictures, thanks. I'm a bit conflicted now though. I was looking for a picture of each Doctor coming out of the Tardis, but I have back-ups of the Doctor's acting silly in case I don't find them. And I already have a pic of Two playing his flute. Now I might just have to replace it with this one..:)

This one is a little bit more canon (IMO) than the one of him with the two coloured flute thing. He never really had that in the show.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to find a nice high res one of the earlier Doctors coming out of the TARDIS... You could always have it with the New Who Doctors, and have different ones of the older Doctors?

Also, I just realised that you're going to *totally* mess up someone looking at your clock for the first time. They'll have to know the numbers of the Doctors!

What's going to be 12? The TARDIS?

Well it's this picture that I was gonna use, it's the same recorder, just painted. And I think I like the colour rather than B&W.

I seem to be having good luck on the DWIA, I found this, which is perfect for the first Doctor. It's even in colour! There's no good Twos thatinclude the TARDIS on there, only a few Threes. I'm just trying to find as many with the TARDIS as I can and I'll use different ones for the rest :)

I know! I was actually going to have the number somewhere on each picture but now I want to not do that just to be evil! XD It's bad enough that you have to figure out the backwards clock but now you can only tell the time if you're a Whovian! Mwahahahah.

And yes, 12 will be the TARDIS :D

Hmmmm.... I just did google image searches for each doctor and was surprised at how few pics of the doctor outside the TARDIS there were, let alone looking out of the TARDIS. For Troughton and Pertwee, I didn't find any in the first few pages, except for staged pics with action figures... Plenty of pics of the various Doctors inside the TARDIS though.

You might want to page through the available pics and see if there is another theme, or simply a pic of each that you like enough to use.

As for frames, try all over: your local craft stores, WalMart/Target/Kmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, Pier 1 - there almost always seem to be small frames on clearance when I look.

I know, I thought they'd be easy to find on google! I have One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, a B&W Seven that will do if I don;t find colour, and Eight. I have nothing for Nine, Ten and Eleven :( You'd think they'd be the easiest to find.

There's one about 3 shops in my city that sell craft stuff and none of them have any frames. I live in Ireland, there's no WalMart, Target, Kmart, Bed Bath & Beyond, or Pier 1. That's why I specified online...
