Hello! I posted these about a month ago on craftgrrl, and some sweet person suggested I bring them over here. Then... I got distracted. ( But hey, NOW you can see my shrinky-dink TARDIS earrings )

Those earring are brilliant! And I agree on the stencil thing - they're much more interesting when they're not perfect. :)

Yeah, I figure pretty much the only way to make t-shirts inspire awe is to make it obvious that you Did It Yourself. (And the thin coat keeps the fabric from getting all stiff and painty.)

Hee hee! The TARDISes are pretty easy to make for other people--I find myself doodling them whenever I'm watching TV. My stencils are almost always one-off things, though, since the method I use is so disposable. I need to get set up for screenprinting.

Amazing! I make Shrinky Dinks all the time and they never come out as beautiful as those TARDIS earrings!

Aww, thank you! I've been really surprised by how vivid they turn out to be--maybe it's the brand of pencils I use. They're Faber-Castell, which is mid-price arty, I guess; I got them at a yard sale, so.
