Yeah, I figure pretty much the only way to make t-shirts inspire awe is to make it obvious that you Did It Yourself. (And the thin coat keeps the fabric from getting all stiff and painty.)
Hee hee! The TARDISes are pretty easy to make for other people--I find myself doodling them whenever I'm watching TV. My stencils are almost always one-off things, though, since the method I use is so disposable. I need to get set up for screenprinting.
Aww, thank you! I've been really surprised by how vivid they turn out to be--maybe it's the brand of pencils I use. They're Faber-Castell, which is mid-price arty, I guess; I got them at a yard sale, so.
