We were looking for a clear UNIT sign! Thanks muchly!

And we are looking to make a CD of Dr. Who music, suggestions for the playlist? We have Song for Ten, I Can't Decide, Spaceman (by the Killers) and we're looking for more. :-)

Hmm. "Love don't roam" also a Doctor Who song that was written for season 3? "Doctorin' the TARDIS" by The Time Lords? "Captain Jack" by Captain Jack? "Soldier of fortune" by Deep Purple sounds PERFECT for The Doctor... "Voodoo Child" by Rogue Traders is a definate! Anything by the band Chameleon Circuit, my favourites by them a "A lot of running to do", "Blink" and "Exterminate! Regenerate!". "Tainted Love" by Soft Cell and "Toxic" by Britney - they were both in Rose's second ep, but I guess they could fit in with Martha too? "Mr Blue Sky" by ELO, from Love and Monsters. "The Stowaway" by Murray Gold? And maybe some of your favourite soundtrack tracks.

just stumbled on this - if its not too late, "Never Touch That Switch" by Robbie Williams is a song that always reminds me of Dr. Who! AND I LOVE YOUR PARTY IDEAS AND ALL YOUR CRAFTINGS!!! OMG!!! O_O

Don't forget that UNIT wears little red hats with their black fatigues. "Red is so his color." ;-)

Haha! True! I don't know that we can get that coordinated though... The people in UNIT and the Lab coats are all non- Dr Who fans. We'll naturally convert them at the party, but I don't think we can demand such a strict dress code. That would be cool though...

Love your angels! If you're coating them in something to get the stone effect, you could try adding a layer of crinkled up tape to the skirts before you coat them? We used duct tape underneath cloth to get the veiny look of our seed pods for our Invasion of the Body Snatchers D*C costumes, but that might be too harsh of an effect. Or if it's just painted fabric, maybe some strategic pinning is all you need?

The other way to highlight the folded look is to do it with paint-- paint the outermost bits light and the innermost bits dark.

Excellent Ideas! the clothes were all clay, so we had to mold them. And we tried the tape effect, but we found it was hard to get the clay to stick on it. So we're thinking (since we may make a couple more of these for Christmas presents) that we'll use bandage or cloth tape with the clay over it.
