btw, i am in process of preparing 3 aluminum cans for the project, example of which you posted some time ago. we went to a corporate picnic and my sons chose to drink root beer and soda, so i have 3 cans now. i have doubts about scratching the paint off. i anticipate it to be a tedious task. i searched online, there is nothing there to chemically remove the paint because it is a thinnest layer of enamel. i don't know when i will manage making the boxes.

Steel wool works well, but I think sandpaper would be better.

We've introduced all of our friends to it by now! It's super amazing. We call it Harry Potter for adults with snark, sarcsm, and fun new words like spanglecrotch. That usually does it.

Woo! More Dresden fans!
I love the snark so much. I think it's a huge part of what makes Dresden feel real, because my friends and I are so snarky and it's like "He would just fit right in!"

I'm impressed! I'm also currently reading my way through the books, so when I saw 'Shield Bracelet' my first thought was Harry Dresden =)

I see so much cool Dresden Files swag online, but a lot of it costs a pretty penny, so I was really happy to be able to make some fan-swag for myself.

Oh man I LOVE Butcher's books! And yep, read every one of them. I agree with the comment about the show, not at all like the books but then Butcher paints such a deep detail of everything I guess it would be a bit difficult to show it all on TV!

And that work is Gorgeous!

I think my biggest problem with the show was that the only link to the books was Dresden. Everything else was wrong. They took away McAnally's, they changed Karrin's name to Connie, they only had Susan in one episode, they completely screwed up Bianca...
It also really bothered me that they couldn't seem to decide whether they wanted to be a family friendly or 18+ show.
