For the other two, I did cheat a bit. I used tissue paper to trace an image off my computer via Google Images for "Yellow Submarine" and the same techinque off of a still shot of the movie with the same title during the song "All You Need Is Love." After tracing, I used a ruler to mark out a grid over the drawing. Then I used a level to make a much larger grid on the wall. Remember those Use the Grid to Draw the Thing! activities in coloring books? It was basically that.
I started with "Yellow Submarine," so I bought yellow, red, blue, and brown paints. By the time I got to "All You Need Is Love," I had to buy cream (the color on the O) and black. Everything else is mixed, and that's been a fun process! :)

You can see the edge of his window in "Good Day Sunshine." I think I'm going to put the blackbird on that top corner. They will be the two smallest paintings of the bunch, so keeping them close makes sense to me.
