Springer was such a sweetheart - full of concern, lightheartedness and love. It's so apparent that he's willing to go that extra mile for his longtime friend, and the mix of seriousness and desire to make his little lady smile was pure luff! His comfort really came in handy.
AND ARCEEEEEEE. D: It made me ache to have to read about her like this. In her frame, her mind, her spark...no part of her went untouched. Such a thing was expressed so clearly in each line, up until Springer started to melt and take down the ice wall she had built around herself for protection. I was especially fond of noticing that despite everything she went through, deep down she's still a fighter, able to graaaaaadually move on and be stronger for this rather than completely broken.
