No-Encryptions "Week"

Mar 17, 2008 23:11

Do you guys mind if we wrap up the No-Encryptions "Week" this coming Friday?

More importantly - how do we want to treat Unhackables? I feel like we had more fun with us being able to hack each other's accounts, personally XD Do we want to think about that, oooor just go with it?

discussion, ooc

I think that's something we should think about, because the journals were really active when we could hack the accounts. And that's a good thing!

I don't think it was that hacking so much as the fact that we finally had a plot to drive us forward again. We just need to keep regular plotting for our characters and it will be easier for us to post things and to stay active (I'm looking forward to the body-switching one, personally!).

Agreed! I think the body switching one will be fun!

I'm all for the hackable journals, myself. It's a great way for a new player to get into the action, as well as fits in with certain ic concepts... My suggestion for how to work it in case a player doesn't want a journal "hacked" is to maybe add a ooc note and/or cut to the post.

Agreed with all of the above so far. Maybe journal hacking can be like the barrier and mess up from time to time?

Normally, I'd agree, but I have hella paranoid characters that, you know. *wry* Would proceed to not USE the journals if there weren't a reasonable degree of privacy. So, I mean, I dunno.

Maybe the idea of adding an OOC ((Srsly encrypted, plz2notbeICreading)) comment would work or something?

*nods* I always... mrrrph. That's how I always thought of the unhackables, y'know? That they required a lot of special effort to make that way. Are you going to spend three hours making your shopping list unhackable?, etc.

Same here, but people started using them for pretty inane things. So, I dunno man :\
