I.. I dropped WW from my pull list over this.

Wonder Woman was the FIRST COMIC my dad ever bought me. Was the first superhero I wanted to be as a little girl.

Ever since the Amazons Attack bullshit, it's been feeling uncomfortable and weird. This is just the awful frosting on the cake.

It was my first comic book too. It was a crappy 70s reprint story, but it was about a powerful woman changing the rules of the game to liberate women. Seeing that message when I was 7 meant a lot to me. Now, I can't show the same comic to my own daughters.

Yep, DC on their 90s-fuelled "hey, who left all this diversity lying around?" trip have decided that it'd be best to have the pioneering, premiere all-female culture in mainstream comics be murderous and sociopathic, rather than utopian and heroic. Got it. *facepalm* IT'S SO EDGY.

My husband asked asked: "Who spiked the water supply with all this misogyny?"

Good question.
