There is a clean sweep button - it's called bankruptcy. It's not as bad as everyone makes it sound, though they passed new legislation in October that makes you jump through more hoops to get one. If you have more credit card debt than you can handle, you should at least look into it. Having a bankruptcy on your credit record is way less harmful than having a bunch of stuff sent to collections and not paid for months and months. And in a few years, even that will be wiped off your record. Bankruptcy is a clean slate.
