It's been in all the papers (he is promoting his new autobiography, and this was guaranteed to get attention). Generally there's been little to no criticism - I think most people are simply happy for him.

Desmond Tutu has been in the press again recently, decrying the state of those parts of the church more interested in sex than poverty - maybe one day they'll get the message.

This puts a whole new spin on songs like "Devil Woman" and "Daddy's Home." :)

Good for Sir Cliff. I've heard the speculation for years, so I'm glad he's addressing it. I only wish he and other older stars (Richard Chamberlain, Tab Hunter, etc.) had been able to be more open earlier in life. Thankfully, times are changing.

He calls him his "companion" so I'm thinking that he's pulling a Jeffry John on us and wants us to believe that he's Side B with a non-erotic intimate relationship. OK -- whatever works for him :)
