Birdie Stitches & CQ Swap blocks

The mail the last couple of weeks brought home my 3 cq swap blocks. These are 4 x 6, and each one was done by a person on the shawkl Blog Files yahoo group of Kathy Shaw. You might remember her wonderful Twelve Dozen in Twelve Months stitching ideas. She did one block for everyone who joined the swap and the rest of us only did one for each of

Love your birdies, Susan. The borders set off the stitching so nicely! Are you going to make these blocks into a quilt? Sure wish I made as much progress as you do! I have the fabric for the embroidery, now to trace them and stitch. Sigh...the days go by way too fast! Judy
