Setting update

A couple of pictures for my setting for block one. You can see my backstitch needs some practice. It's a stitch I've never used until the Ozzie designers' patterns. I'm not crazy about it, but I will perfect it. I much prefer outline stitch or stem stitch, but I thought this provided some variety. The threads are Sassa Lynne cotton fine perle

I don't like back stitching either. I think my favorite is the stem stitch. It hides a lot of un-evenness. I'm hoping to spend some time in my sewing room tomorrow working on baby quilts. I ot almost a whole top put together last weekend! Just need borders.
