Attitude
They were gonna come to blows. Don saw it building for the last few days, the tension, the baiting. He wasn't sure which man would win. Ian and Billy were pretty evenly matched. One thing he did know was that it would be explosive.
Day eight and shit hit the fan with a lost suspect and no viable leads. They were at an abandoned farm in the middle of no-fucking-where. It was hot as hell and tempers soared higher than the heat index.
"If we hadn't listened to this asshole, we'd have caught Simmons," Cooper groused.
"If you'd have kept your eyes on him instead of on some skank pussy, he wouldn't have gotten away," Edgerton shot back.
"Well the only pussy I see now is you. Come over here and suck my cock, hoe."
There was a moment of silence, then Ian jumped across the table, swinging at Billy's head. The clatter of chairs falling, fists connecting and grunting was heard throughout the small farmhouse.
Don yelled at the men. "Cut that shit out, you assholes."
Neither man listened as they rolled around the dusty floor. It was more of a wrestling match than an actual fight, with a few punches thrown when an opening presented itself.
"Fuck it." Don would let them get it out of their system, and as long as they didn't kill each other, to hell with them. He stood back and watched them grapple. When it finally looked like Billy had the upper hand, Don saw a familiar smirk cross his face.
The smirk was short-lived when Ian flipped them putting Billy in a hold Don had only seen on the WWE. The sniper's crotch in the manhunter's face, Ian said, "Get to work, bitch."
Billy licked his lips and smiled, lowering Ian's zipper.
