Jeans of Justice
Don’s team had been called the JOJL, the Jeans of Justice League. Howard had overheard several female AUSA’s chatting in the break room. Howard agreed, Don’s men really filled out a pair of blue jeans. David and Colby both wore theirs well. But, as she said, Don was clearly the Superman in the JOJL. Howard was certain the way Don wore his jeans so tight had to be illegal in several states. But Howard wasn’t complaining. Nope. In fact, he had been happily watching Don in action with this past case.
Don had looked extremely hot. And Howard had to actively work at not staring at the agent’s ass whenever Don stood with his back to him. He knew there wasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that he’d get anything other than knocked on his ass if Don caught him. Don was straight. Grade-A 100% ladies man, the trail of female FBI agents and AUSA’s in his wake as proof.
Howard knew it was best to take his mind off of Don. So he tried. But all his efforts just put him into thinking about the other half of the Brothers Eppes. And if Don was Superman to the JOJL, then Charlie was the super brain that provided insight and information. While Charlie didn’t nearly fill out a pair of jeans like his brother, Howard found he was still captivated by Charlie’s dichotomy, graceful, almost feminized facial features, including hair, mouth, curve of his neck, yet also having the masculine musculature, strength and a lean hard body, that Howard found he really wanted to get next to. But like his brother, Charlie was interested in women. Well he was more interested in numbers, but women seemed to rate a close second.
For Howard Meeks, the Brothers Eppes were off limits.
