New Star Trek Trailer.  Thoughts afterwards:



Initial Impressions:

I don't know about this Star Trek movie.  It feels too... epic.  Star Trek's never really been so much about destiny and "choose the path to walk" and all that jazz.  So, I hope this is just improper marketing and not the true crux of the plot progression.

More importantly, Enterprise was the best. Hands down.

It will go the way of Enterprise and be absolutely fucking amazing and way better than everything that came before it, but due to it's main theme, a remix of Rocket Man, instead of the traditional symphonic overture people will have a shit-fit and never give it a fucking chance.
