since i have faced this situation on many ocasions...i can speak from experience...i would love to be able to do A...but i usually end up doing B...and eventually end up sitting in my room by myself feeling very sorry for myself...then i pick up a book because they are always my friend...then i wait for someone to miss me (some times its longer than is seemly)...eventually i am missed...tho not always for the reasons i would like...sorry if it didnt help but at least i tried -_-

I think i have to quote Bush's "Glycerine"...

"I'm never alone, I'm alone all the time."

i can be more alone in a room full of people than in a room by myself...is this strange...or do you know how it is?

i know exactly how it is.

sing the chorus of Radiohead's "Creep" to yourself. you'll get the idea.

well... when are you lonely?

your at school about 7 hours a day with people + band + homework = what time do you have left?

(this is not sarcastic this is honest.)

Come with me to Elizabeth Town and then it'll be an activity + a good movie + you won't be lonely :-)(this = good)

who says people actually pay mind to me at school?

I find there are some good social times, but i wander through that building and sit in class for large portions of the day surrounded mostly by people who know nothing about me besides my name and my reputation. And even then, most of the people who know more than that have either just forgotten, don't care anymore, or leave it strictly academic...

I walk through school and march at band surrounded by things I am disconnected from.

that's what I kinda thought b/c I know people can't be just as if not more so isolating.

Especially because it a small school people will hear your rep. and think they know you with out ever actually getting to know you.

In some ways as you get older it gets better because you met more new people.

In other ways as you change and grow the people who've know you all your life have a hard time seeing you as who you are instead of who you have been.

Life = trade off's sometimes but life = good too :-)

I do A a lot. According to personality tests I'm an effing intrapersonal master.

I still haven't found what I'm looking for though.

i personally have a mix of both a and b. im alone, i wish i wasnt, but its the way it is, and it doesnt seem to be changing anytime soon. I could change myself, to be what i think people want me to be, but in the end everyone already has their minds made up about innocent little megan. i dont want to change for others, i dont like who i am now, but i dont know what i want myself to be. if you could completely do a, i would go with that. it is better to be seemingly happy than to be fighting your way in and pissing people off. at least you know what its like to not be alone.

make yourself what YOU want to be. Not what others want you to be. And the only reason some still have their minds made up about you is because they're idiots.
