does it scare anyone else that if you died tonight, the world would move on? i mean honestly. People would be sad, grieving would occur, but life would go on. it has for milenia. i mean, when john lennon died, the world stopped for about 10 minutes, then resumed its sinful, spiteful, and zephyric cycle of soul selling and body destroying

i know what you mean, not wanting to be forgotten... but honestly, not everyone in the world can be remembered by everyone. we have, what, 6-7 billion people on this earth.
obviously, if we were to die tomorrow, we would be remembered by anyone we've impacted. either good or bad.
its ignorance for us to not look at people who have made big impacts on our society, and world... but if they haven't, they why should we? its kinda cold, but kind of how it works
If you really want to be remembered, don't have being remembered as your main goal. Thats a hard standard to reach, seeing as though we probably won't know how we are going to be remembered when we are gone. Just know how you want to impact the world, or whatever, and do the best you can.

your not supposed to be remembered by everybody. just as long as someone remembers you for their whole life. then you are worth rememebering. and, like search_4reality said, dont make 'being remembered' your goal, becuase somewhere along the line, you have impacted someone so much that they will never ever forget you.

You may be remembered as a great hero by twenty people, but if those twenty people are not remembered in the same, then you are still forgotten.

In a world of over 6 billion people, are we expected to remember those before us? I believe in learning from the past and looking forward.

i know how you feel
and my problem sometimes is that i feel like people are forgetting me while i'm still alive
but even though the world still moves on, those people who care most about you and are the most important in your life will always remember you and have difficulties saying your name without tearing up or remembering one of their best memories with you
and on that note, call me again sometime and this time we'll actually hang out :) :) :)
