Absolutely! Obersturmbannführer Kroenen doesn't photograph so well - too much reflective black in too many different shades. Probably one of the reasons they did the opening scene in the rain . . .
Well, most of it was custom made or modified by yours truly. The mask is a heavily-modified Sideshow Collectibles mask - much repainting necessary to make it match the opening scene outfit.
Sadly, the boots are no longer available. Those are Effingham Dress boots I bought years ago for my Imperial Officer uniform. Also modified - I had to have a cobbler remove the high cuffs to make them look more like German riding boots. Effingham went out of business back in 2003, as I understand it. The closest thing you can find now would be the officer boots sold by Lost Battalions (www.lostbattalions.com).
The uniform was from South Beach Leather (www.southbeachleather.com). Again, much modification was necessary - new buttons, insignia, and tailoring. Once South Beach figured out what I wanted it for, they started selling them on eBay - I see one posted every few weeks

Hello there. I noticed that you added me, and I'm very happy to add you back (it's my dream to be an AF pilot eventually), but I was just curious to know where you found me?
Thanks for the add! I think I came across your LJ off the "WW2" group, if I remember right. Apologies for the delay in reponding - I don't make it on here much these days. Iraq is not exactly a permissive internet environment. Only a few more weeks to go with this tour, though!
I like your icon! It's from The Spirit of '43, isn't it?
Thanks about that. My family isn't all too supportive, heh. (Well, it's complicated. My father is, since he served in the Cold War for the Army Security Agency, but my mother isn't. She's very liberal and is therefore quite againts any military involvement on my part. It broke her heart when my sister decided to attend the Naval Academy instead of art school.) I'm probably going to go through AFROTC during my four years of college which are coming up (I'm currently a high school senior) and then do the additional pilot training. It's all still in the works. I'm going to be meeting up with a recruiter next week to talk it over. I'm also looking into the Marines, but the Air Force is my top choice. Of course, my sister, being the big Navy buff that she is, makes fun of me and tells me that I'm just going to be another "lazy zoomie". Yeah. I'm all gung-ho about joining the Chair Force. Sigh

Craig tried to get his to fall under the fascist area, but the closest we could get was a strong Republican, lol.

And, with the nice lady who runs that website (and on whose camera the picture was taken).

It's a fun costume - but unbelievably hot - twenty pounds of leather and no ventilation. I have new respect for Ladislav Baren now.
