Correct me if I'm wrong, someone, but I'll try draw a few comparisions.

The closest sound to m-flo, I think, would be JJ Lin? Jay Chou and Wang Lee Hom are good bets if you like the smooth RnB sound that is sometimes rocky, sometimes ballad-y.

If you like slightly quirkier, maybe sodagreen? I also highly recommend Khalil Fong, who is kind of RnB, but more offbeat.

I'm not very good at identifying music genres. :S

I had a post on some Chinese indie um, here and here.

As for other recs not on the list above, it's kind of hard to pick coz the Chinese don't have many artists like Casker/Humming Urban Stereo (who I love) that I can think of right now, or are easy to find. I will say Wang Leehom, but depending on what you prefer, you'll have to find the right album as he mixes with different genres. Another more mainstream artist that can sort of doing lounge/laid back (but with pop mixed in) is Eason Chan. Again, you'll have to listen through a few albums to get a taste of it. Less well known artists I would go for are Fusion Band, Han Zhen Zhen, Sandee Chen (although her style varies, right now I think she's playing with electro, but her earlier stuff is lounge-y) and maybe Ivana Wong (I like her style, it more laid back, but I don't her voice as it's too high/squeaky for me).

Aww, someone who likes Chinese indie! Definitely give Fusion band a listen. I uploaded their debut album here, since their name isn't very Google-friendly:

Peng Tan and sodagreen are good indie artists, and Mayday and A-Yue are more mainstream, but they also have good music. Maybe Yu Fei Men, Mrs. This, and Milk@Coffee. If you're completely new to Chinese music, you pretty much have to try Jay Chou and LeeHom Wang, but with Jay, go for one of his earlier albums such as "Fantasy" or "Ye Hui Mei," and "Shangri-La" and "Heroes of Earth" for LeeHom. You can't really say that you listen to Chinese music unless you try Jay and LeeHom, but I think those albums would be the best place to start.
