Next year, if you have to choose between the two, it must be Dragoncon...Both tltrent and I will be going, with tltrent going for book stuff and pleasure.
We'll see. I'm seriously unhappy with DragonCon right now. Andy was smart and got his pre-reg early, but I missed out on it. When I tried to register on-site Saturday, I had to wait in a line for 3 hours and 15 minutes, most of which was outside under the hot Atlanta sun. By the time I was done, most of the day's panels were over and I just went back to the hotel room to nap and hope my aching back would recover from standing in the line.
The con was otherwise ok, but had I known registration was going to be such a problem, I would have never left home.
And many of you know that this is the second registration fiasco we've been through. Boo on DragonCon's organization. >:P
