Wow, you've lost another 20 pounds since I last saw you! I've done about half that, which isn't as much as I wanted before my trip but I'm still working at it too and hope to accomplish more before seeing you guys in Toronto. I've started in on some clothes that I'd stashed away and some of Andrew's but he's lost enough weight that I'm mostly taking items he's abandoned.

I had the same frustration try spinning (that crazy bicycle interval training). I can usually do elliptical for 45 minutes at a stretch with litle difficulty, but found myself gasping and holding my side on the bike while everyone else tooled away. I might just have to stick with what works for me. That said, I have to wake Andrew up so that we can get in some gym time before our afternoon plans!

Glad to see a post from you!

Stick with it. We're gonna be so cute in Toronto! :D

I'm doing some recumbent bike riding and some strength training, in addition to my DDR at home. I did a spin class once a long time ago, but it wasn't for me. My butt was sore for days, and not in a good way. ;P

I should be at T'con, so we can commisserate about weight loss together! Especially since I have had such an annoying week. :(

Don't overstress yourself about the exercise. Remember that you've been in class for less than a month -- the body gets better, but not overnight. You safely lose only about 2 pounds per week at MAX, right? Same with endurance. You build it up slowly. So don't worry too much. Keep up where you can and by the end of the semester, you'll be right in there with all but the hardcore 20-somethings. :)

Why don't you try yoga? It can help you learn to breathe.

That's a good idea. I'm missing flexibility as part of my exercise. Anyone got suggestions of where to go around here?

YES!

Noelle Djouid (?) and she is located above Tilley Chiropractic by Red Lion. She is EXCELLENT and has a great beginner class. I don't have her new information, but if you drop by the chiropractor or call him at 951-1183  then you can get her info. They kind of work together.
