Even further out there: If you use just the fingers of your hands to count in Binary Coded Decimal with your palms facing you and the leas significant bit on the right (so you don't have to use your pinky for the lsb), when you get to 42 you will be giving the rest of the world the "double bird". Perhaps that IS the The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
