Usually Amazon is quick for us--we pay for Prime because we're always ordering stuff, so it's usually 2-day shipping and occasionally next-day, which is nice. I'll order used books and whatnot which come from third-party sellers and take a while, but I expect that so it doesn't bother me. They did warn me that the basketball thing was out of stock at the moment, so I can't fault them on that even though SOME kind of indication (are we talking days? weeks?) would have been nice. Ah well, it's on the way now so that's good

Wow, I hope the rocks have proper HDMI inputs! I heard they had problems with the IEEE specs for those. I got my Onkyo via Amazon, if you need to cut and run I can send you the model. It's been discontinued, and I got a refurb, but it's been 100% (except the bluetooth, which I've used less than a handful of times from my phone, cuts out occasionally and sometimes when it powers on the power relays sit there clicking on and off. Solution: turn it off for a couple of seconds).
I posted an update earlier--it was supposed to come Saturday but FedEx happened to show up 5 minutes before my wife got home. It was supposed to be re-delivered tomorrow, but they showed up today after all and my wife was home, so it's there waiting for me now. Can't wait to go home and see if they sent the right unit, or if it's a refurb or something. I won't trust these people until I see it's a new, factory-sealed, USA-branded unit. Stay tuned. :)
