Cute pic. Interesting history of the park. The one lone holdout may have lost all his neighbors but now he/she has lots of teenagers to visit with. LOL

There is that! But the house isn't too close to the playground part of the park, so he might still get off easy. :)

Definitely! As you know, when I travel I like to come across spots that carry the weight of history. I should do that more in these parts! Florida history doesn't typically go back that far, at least in terms of Western civilization, but what there is can be pretty fascinating.

That is an awesome dress, pity she'll outgrow it in six months or so. You really need to get her to a sci fi con while she can still wear it.

The good thing about having a creative seamstress wife is that she can always whip up another one, I guess. :) It is pretty awesome, though! Daleks are my favorite. :)

Interesting about the park! It would be a pretty sweet set-up. I wonder how it would go if he ever decides to sell...Would the county allow the house to be sold? Or would they force him to sell it to them for a greatly reduced price?

LOVE the dalek dress. Anything Whovian is approved in my book.

I thought so too! You see a river and figure it's always been there, you know? I never suspected that the river used to be underground with a neighborhood of homes on top. I figure the county doesn't spare it any thought at this point since the park is done, so probably nothing special if and when that guy sells. Maybe he already did, that was all 10+ years ago now. :)

I don't think a lot of people recognize what the dress is supposed to be, but I'm a fan of obscurity as well, so I like that. :)
