..is that Paul?...

I think so.

There is deep speculation that the young bespeckled boy in the lower right of this famous picture is, indeed, Paul McCartney.

What do you think?

Kind of looks like his profile and he does have longish hair. Could very well be Paul, and if so that means he saw John a few weeks before the day they actually met properly.

I remember reading somewhere, crap can't remember which place now and who was being quoted, that Mary and Julia most likely knew each other a little bit as well.

Mary and Julia most likely knew each other a little bit as well.

I remember reading that in various books....one was "Magical Mystery Tour", where Tony said something along the lines of "everyone knew everyone else in Liverpool". The other was (and I am 90% sure that I read it there) Michael's book about the Macs.

Thanks Astrid!

I'll have to read The Macs again. So much great info in that book!

..yeah..it could be Paul..but, then again, it could be someone else. I think the only person that can answer that is Paul, himself..and so I wish someone would show him the picture and the media would "capture" his response so we could know for sure.

Interesting if Mary and Julia knew each other..if only briefly.

Nope.
Even Bill Harry denied that. And I guess he knows how Paul looked like at that time. This boy is too broad-shouldered....and why should he wear glasses?

It is not him, most of my sources (some are first hand sources) say no. As much as I would love the idea....I do not think it is him. The profile does look a bit like Paul, but he is too tall, broadshouldered and the hair does not look like his hair at that time at all.
