I had mentioned, earlier, about the HTML5 video element, and used a bit of javascript to get it to run. As it turns out, browsers will have built-in controls.

Works in OmniWeb 5.10, which also uses the latest WebKit - although it also had the side-effect of removing the usual :: Add Memory :: Tell a Friend :: Track Replies :: Flag :: Reply links in the theme I use; to reply, I had to open the entry in a new tab, and use the "Post a new comment" link.

HTML5 promises to be a lot of fun, especially with the embedded vector graphics and web fonts (finally!) - of course, IE will follow up about five years after everyone else. Which will only help other browsers' popularity. ^_^

It seems I need after it. Fixed! (Have you ever tried using without an lj-cut? Depending on your friends' themes, their entire page will be in italics. I got a friend mad at me for doing that.

So those options should be there, now.

IE (accidentally wrote 'DIE' -- Freudian slip?) is losing market share, this past year. I think Firefox 3, and now Google Chrome, helped with that. Poor Opera is completely unheard of.
I think after HTML5 comes out, IE will be so far behind that it just won't be useful to use them. Companies might upgrade from IE6 to Firefox, in a couple years. Personally, I'd like to see Firefox return to their roots and become a good application again. I have the feeling that it might end up treading IE territory. It's rather slow, and I fear the times I have to open it.
