For those of you out there who enjoy the Smithsonian's Museum of American History, they announced today that the museum will be *closing* for a few years for renovations (please don't remind me how long the Portrait Gallery has been closed.. I had the whole re-wording worked out in my head while listening to the Spring Peepers tonight (well, them and at least one or two other frog-types out there right now... peepers are the most plentiful though... can hear them in the car a block away from where they live!)
