Okay, this is very important.  Luceti, I need your help with this one.  Batman can be a potentially godmoddy character to play if people aren't aware of what he can and can't do.   So what I need is for people to throw me a bone here and work with me.

I'm sure all of you are aware Batman is the world's greatest detective.  That means he's bound to ( Read more... )

Buffy: She's a horrible liar and often can be read like any book. Anything she hasn't bothered to filter is entirely fair game and, in fact, I would love to see her get a rude wake-up call about how lax she is on that. She tries to maintain a secret identity gig but generally isn't very careful about it, so he's more than welcome to find out who she is. She is, however, very sensitive to things like being followed, or tracked. If he shadows her she'll probably get one of her typical and canon feelings of "the wiggins". But I'd still love to see it happen!

As for plots, I'd prefer a plot-by-plot basis. Smaller things could be exposed with no problem but bigger things, specifically if it involves more than just my muse? Some OOC communication would be great.

Merlin: Also a horrible liar, read him however you want. He probably won't be able to tell he's being tracked because Batman doesn't use magic and Merlin's really only attuned to magic. Batman is absolutely free to find out/know/etc about Merlin's being a warlock (he's fourth ( ... )

Feel free to read Noel; she's an open book, and not particularly good at lying. As for exposing plots... I think I'm fine with most things, but you might want to run it by me if you think Batman would somehow find out about some of the bigger things going on, such as Noel = CLONE!!!1

But yeah, all good. |Db

Dilandau is crazy and a troll and has made multiple, public threats about burning down the village and killing people. He's easily angered, and so isn't very subtle. He's mostly harmless, since he doesn't have any magic, and he doesn't have his giant robot with him. Still. Feel free to freak the fuck out of him, Bats. :|

Huuuum de dum. IF I get Tyki, this post will be incredibly relevant, because he's kind of into the whole murdering people thing. But I will totally forget to come back to this later, so! This is a placeholder to help me remember come back to it. Will edit this comment! (Hope this is okay with you.)

ALRIGHT. Coming back to this.

destrua, his pretensions aside, is a total maniac who takes a whole lot of joy in murdering people. And it may not be long before he stops caring about appearances and starts maiming people out of boredom. So yeah, definitely dangerous ( ... )

Jay keeps to himself mostly, so there's really not much to know about him. But there are some who consider him an enemy, but he's really not a villain character. So Bats may learn exactly why those people consider him an enemy. I don't know if that would be enough to interest him, though.

Bats may learn that Jay's an information dealer and a strategist, but he'll come forward with that soon anyhow.

One thing to note though; Jay's senses are extremely sharp, so if you try to spy on him from the darkest shadows or wherever, he will notice you.

EDIT: Adding Batman's permissions for mountain_sage.

Saleh's a terrible liar, so Batman can probably read him like an open book. However, he keeps a low profile, so there's really not much to learn about him either. He could be considered "too good for his own good." It's okay to know about Saleh's magic and healing capabilities and to ask him for assistance in healing victims or providing rear support if needed.

Unlike Jay, Saleh will likely not notice if Batman stalks him. Especially if he's ( ... )
