This is the one I have a question about! The yellow puppy. Should his eyelashes and whiskers be a different color? Black maybe? No, I don't know why puppies have whiskers like kittens. And yes, they actually are puppies, the theme of the iron-on transfers is baby animals in love or something silly. Anyway, I didn't think about the yellow dog

i think if the collar and mouth and eyes can be a different color, then the eyelashes and whiskers maybe ought to be as well. black sounds good yes, or maybe brown to match the other puppy. or maybe leave off the whiskers, they are quite kittenish as you said.

I took the whiskers off and it looked a lot better. I also gave the yellow one black eye lashes. I did the bunnies after the puppies and then decided I liked the way the bunnies looked better. :-) Thanks for the advice, it helps to have a second opinion!!

funny how subtle things make big differences like that. yeah me and my mom bounce lots of crochet stuff off each other. i agree, always nice to have a second set of eyes.

thats a lot of work! and they look very lovely! i've never been good at straight embroidery. i can do counted cross stitch, but not just embroidery.
