I actually got the animation making part down to routines, so it's pretty easy for me as I'm too lazy to do fancy coloring in photoshop (which might actually come out more of a disastrous anyway), so I just throw in 1 curve filter in sony vegas during video cutting to make contrast/brightness look better (I think).
The hard part for me is to figure out moods and think of a scene that would fit each of them.
If this project failed then I'd at least get some new vocabulary LOL. Some of these words I've never seen until now.
Yah I think 1 could be "amused" and 2 could be "thoughtful", although I was leaning toward "nostalgic" for 2, they are in the same chain anyway.
The contrast/brightness, yes, it is betterer (but the rest of that sentence went straight over my head, i am anti-artistic, even computer-wise, so i know nothing about such programs :D)
Yes, learning new words, normally a good thing, but then you use them over and over until your friends get so sick of them you aren't allowed to say them at all.....well at least that happens to me :P
These are great! I would definitely use them when you get done. I could see 3 as pissed off more than enraged but either would work. 1 I could see as pleased or amused and I like 2 as thoughtful.
I think 'relieved' might have a glitch in the animation? Or it looks that way.
Thanks. Heh my plan is to do a bunch of angry animations and then compare later to see how angry he is to fit each mood :D
Hmm you mean it's a bit jumpy in relieved? I kinda cut off a few frames between when it's just Ianto and when it cuts to him hugging Jack as *cough* gwen head was in the way even more so than she already was.
Ahh I see it now, I think because of the way it is cut, you see Ianto walk up, then sort of walk up again and it seems to jump a bit. You might be able to get away with just the bit after the cut....if you wanted to.
Also: I totally applaud and adore your hard work, it looks amazing so far.
Well, let me just say I'm a new fan of yours and I think your icons (I've taken quite a few! With credit, of course) and mood themes are excellent. And I would never ever have known that English wasn't your first language!
I currently have a Doctor Who mood theme but I might steal some of your Ianto/Janto ones and mix them up with Who. These are GREAT!
Yeah, #2 could be high. It also looks like calm. #1 looks like grateful. And yes, enraged would work for #3.
These look great! I made my own Jack Harkness animated theme a couple months ago and it took up way more time than I ever could have imagined. Mostly because I had to rewatch all the episodes to find good clips. And then I'd get distracted by the show and forget I was supposed to be clipping it and not watching it. =)
thanks. Heh, since I have re-watched the episodes more times than I can count already, I kinda have general ideas of what Ianto does in each episode or if there's any scenes that could work.
Hope I could finish the theme, some moods gonna be very very difficult.

But I ADORE your work so far (especially your one for "Crushed" that's just INSPIRED!)
Of those spare two, I'd like to see no. 1 in amused and no. 2 in thoughtful (if you think that works)
Well done so far! You have a lot more patience than me obviously!
