Oh wow this is wonderful! I love how absolutely tender this Verse is, and how looking after Sam has completely changed, but I don't know, maybe the principles are still the same. I LOVE the trivia thing and Sam haven't to work hard to remember/process everything, and man, it's lovely that Dean is all sick too, and just needing to rest, but he'll step up to whatever Sam needs of him. The end especially, was beautiful.

i've just found this 'verse and i love it so much. dean taking care of sam is one of my biggest weaknesses and his tenderness here is just beautiful.

just read this and loved it, and then had to read "nothing to kill or die for" as well! Can I ask what happened to "no scratching" though? Is it friends only? I'd love to read that one as well if there's any way I can get to it!

Yeah, I have the feeling Dean doesn't ever think it's good enough... but he tries. :)

“C’mon, you gotta eat something.” Dean’s voice is softer now, coaxing. “How about… uhhh… sneeze- huh’ngk! - what about some pasta?” he suggests after stifling the sneeze into his shoulder.

I thought about that during my commute yesterday, thought about it at work, in class, at home... seriously, all day long.

I really liked this!! Dean will go to such lengths for Sam, and I love the idea of them taking a day to try to relax, both sick, kind of resting a little even though there's so much going on with Sam that they'll never reeeaally be able to relax, but it's nothing that they can't really handle. Nice happy ending too!!

Aww, that's awesome!

I'm really having fun exploring this relationship. Of course, Dean has always done anything for Sam, but now it's different, because he has to try to anticipate and respond to so many of Sam's reactions. I'm having fun getting to know gentle Dean. :)
